OAKLAND IS BROKEN:

LOREN’S PLAN TO FIX IT

City Hall’s corruption, mismanagement, and lack of accountability have brought Oakland not only to the brink of bankruptcy but have put critical city services on life support.

The signs of how broken our city is are everywhere: 911 calls go unanswered, potholes eat our tires, illegal dumping and trash clogs our sidewalks and streets, businesses are leaving Oakland, and too many of our neighbors lack basic shelter.

This isn’t just about failed policies – it’s about failed leadership. Residents and businesses have become an afterthought.

It’s no wonder that we, Oaklanders, are frustrated by facing the same problems time and time again, while not making any progress. Oakland deserves a leader who can not only unite us, but who is willing to make the hard choices to make sure every dollar of our budget serves the practical needs of Oaklanders.

Loren is uniquely positioned to make hard choices that the political establishment is unwilling to do. He is unafraid of holding all parties accountable even if those decisions do not align with allies or special interests.

Loren’s policy priorities and plans for Oakland are a reflection of that commitment. It is time for Oakland residents to be put first.

Loren’s Action Plan Highlights

  1. Increase to 800 police officers
  2. Restore all closed fire stations
  3. Bring employees back to City Hall
  4. Require concessions from city budget stakeholders
  5. Eliminate tax for businesses with under $1.5M in rev
